Jelani Eddington Completes Two-Week Concert Tour of New Zealand

RACINE, WISCONSIN. Jelani Eddington returns today from a two-week three-stop concert tour in New Zealand, with appearances in the cities of Auckland, Tauranga, and Christchurch. The concerts were all very well received, earning him numerous accolades and requests for a prompt return. The venues for the performances were:

• Sunday, November 13, 2011 — Hollywood Theatre. Avondale, Auckland, New Zealand. 3/14 Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ.
• Friday, November 18, 2011 — Drury Theatre & Residence. Christchurch, New Zealand. Allen LL324Q digital theatre organ
• Sunday, November 20, 2011 — Baycourt Theatre. Tauranga, New Zealand. 2/10 Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ.

This tour is Jelani’s fourth concert trip to New Zeland, having completed tours in 1996, 1997, 2003, and 2004. Discussions are underway for a possible return engagement in the not-too-distant future.
