1.6 Million Online Views Of Jelani Eddington Performances
As “Star Wars” Video Goes Viral

RACINE, WISCONSIN. RJE Productions is pleased to announce that as of the beginning of April 2014, videos of Jelani Eddington performances on YouTube have garnered a staggering 1.6 Million views.

In late March 2014, Jelani’s performance of Star Wars Symphonic Suite became an Internet sensation. The video has been seen in more than 200 countries and has registered more than 1,000,000 views by the first days of April 2014. This production is the first-ever viral video of a theatre organ performance and the first-ever theatre organ performance to register more than 1 million views.

The video, recorded at the 5-manual 80-rank Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ at the Jasper & Marian Sanfilippo, was produced by Donnie Rankin and his company DR4 Productions LLC, and features an accurate transcription for theatre organ of the full orchestral score of John William’s classic movie theme.

On March 27, 2014, the Star Wars video was picked up by the Internet site Gizmodo and featured by Huffington Post Entertainment. Many media outlets around the world followed, with articles appearing in France, Belgium, China, Thailand, and Malaysia, as well as many articles throughout the United States.
